“ Wish I took more pictures of my food but the whole restaurant was a whole experience. From the service, to the ambiance and of course the food everything was a straight 10/10. The other food we got were the hot buns, potstickers, crab pasta and ice cream. Everything was delicious. We were in town for a girls trip / birthday party and the staff was sure to say happy birthday to my friend. It made her feel special. Well. Done Sunda! If you are in town, please go. It's been 2 weeks and I'm still talking about the szcheuan chicken. ”
“ Sunda is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. I appreciate its continuous culinary innovation. My last visit to Sunda was just like the previous visits, exceptional. Once I was seated I was quickly greeted by the staff and I love how knowledgeable they are about each item on the menu. They were able to recommend tons of tasty options. Throughout my time in the restaurant not once did I feel rushed despite the crowd of people waiting to be seated. My party and I ordered a few appetizers for the table along with a few cocktails. Each item was delicious in its own way. I can safely say I have yet to have a bad meal here. Sunda is always a solid choice especially if you are looking for a good dining option in the Gulch. ”
“ The best fried rice I've ever had. Staff was very attentive and gave great recommendations. The space is large and fancy. Great for a date night or girls dinner ”
“ Sunda is absolutely my favorite restaurant in the gulch so far! Every time I go I spend way too much money because everything is so good. My favorite dish so far has been the sezchuan chicken. Service is always top notch. They also cater to food allergies which is difficult to find in sushi restaurants. ”
“ Sunda remains a top-tier dining destination in The Gulch - offering consistently delicious Asian fusion, upscale urban ambiance, and creative cocktails. The service staff is always swift, professional, friendly, and charming. Their menu offers everything from Wagu to vegan options - and everything in between. Classic apps include the must-try miso cauliflower. Their eggplant bao buns are fantastic - vegetarian as-is, vegan if you take off the slaw. And the sushi is always wonderful. Great for date night, group dinners and special celebrations. ”
“ This place came highly recommended when visiting Nashville. The place had a dark chill aesthetic vibe. I ordered the Pork Belly Bao Bun, Garlic Crab noodles, and the Sunda Sundae. Pork Belly Bao Buns - 8/10 comes with 4 buns. It's super filling and great to share! Delicious! Garlic Crab noodles - 7.5/10 I was looking forward to this one, but they used regular pasta, which was disappointing. The flavor was there and the crab tasted great, but would've been better with an egg noodle to enhance the Asian fusion flavors of the noodle. It was really heavy, but good. Sunda Sundae - 6/10 the ube milk flavor was nice and I love the jackfruit / jellies! I wish they gave a little more toppings to even out the amount of ice given. Overall, we had a good experience. The food didn't totally wow me for the price but we still had a super filling meal! ”
“ Stopped in during Happy Hour and was instantly impressed with the place. Don't get me wrong, I did my due diligence and checked it out on this somewhat popular app called Yelp - perhaps you've heard of it..lol The Happy Hour menu is full of tasty delights like the Seoul Wings...just Wow! Korean style wings that were sheer perfection. Since I consider myself a chicken wing connoisseur (yes, that's a thing look it up) I'm qualified to rate them a 9/10 on the chicken wing critic scale. The service was great too. I was immediately greeted by one of the bartenders, offered and served a drink, and told about the menu. Superb Happy Hour experience. I'll definitely be back for the Seoul Wings! ”
“ We popped in for a happy hour treat before dinner and I was super excited to see this place! I'd never been before and was really happy with the experience - will definitely come back for dinner. Inside was gorgeous and it was a good-sized space, too! Our server knew we were in a little bit of a hurry and did a great job getting our food and drinks out quickly. Very grateful! I had an AMAZING cocktail - the miso old fashioned. It was unlike any other old fashioned I've had and it was a great surprise. So much so that I had to order a second one :) We got shishito peppers and nori fries - both were excellent! ”
